The work pays tribute to the artist’s parents, his personal heroes. The title, meaning ‘Mum, Dad’ in his native language, reflects the deep familial bond at the heart of this piece. Inspired by Transylvanian folklore and the luminous stained-glass windows — often referred to as ‘windows to the heavens’ — the composition echoes the spiritual and cultural influences that shaped his parents' lives.
