Landscape

This work features four laser-cut wooden landscapes: mountain, desert, ocean, and countryside. Each landscape is viewed from the same perspective and at the same time of day, offering a unique glimpse into nature’s order and depth. The intricate four-layer pattern of each ecosystem reveals a delicate balance. The first layer depicts the flora, the second highlights geographic features and human efforts to shape the land, the third layer shows the fauna, and the fourth represents the heart — symbolising the core of the ecosystem. Each viewer is invited to explore their own values within the design of these landscapes. Is it the landscape we grew up in that shapes our lifestyle and values, or does our lifestyle shape the land we inhabit?
